Continuing the Journey: Why I Still Love Being a REALTOR®
When I wrote my last blog about why I love being a REALTOR®, I could never have imagined the whirlwind of experiences and growth that the years ahead would bring. Reflecting on this journey fills me with gratitude, I’ve truly enjoyed every single minute of it.
Helping my clients buy or sell their homes remains at the heart of what I do. I take pride in ensuring the process is as seamless as possible, navigating every detail so my clients can focus on their exciting next steps. One of my favorite moments is possession day, when I hand over personalized gift baskets and see the joy in my clients’ eyes and smiles. It’s a moment that never gets old and reminds me why I love what I do.
But real estate is about so much more than transactions. For me, it’s also about community. I’ve had the privilege of volunteering at countless events, organizing initiatives with fellow realtors and local businesses, and creating opportunities to give back. Hosting bi-monthly networking events has been a blast, and I love seeing how these gatherings spark new connections and ideas.
One of my proudest moments was co-hosting the Pooch Patio Party, where we raised over $6,000 for the Cochrane & Area Humane Society. The support from our community was incredible, and it inspired me to keep giving back. This year, I’m thrilled to be hosting the 3rd Annual Blanket Drive, which aims to collect donations to provide warmth and care for animals in need.
Beyond events, I’m passionate about finding ways to make a difference, whether it’s random acts of kindness for residents or simply connecting people who can support and uplift one another. Seeing our community come together is one of the most rewarding parts of my job.
All of this, the clients, the community, the creativity, and the connections, makes being a REALTOR® more than just a career; it’s my passion. And the best part? The journey isn’t over. I’ve got even more exciting plans for next year, and I can’t wait to share them with you.
Thank you for being part of this incredible journey, whether as a client, a colleague, or a neighbor. Here’s to many more amazing moments ahead!
