Every wagging tail and joyful bark at the Furry Fun Fest wouldn’t be possible without the passion and dedication of two dog-loving powerhouses: Sylvia and Jana. These two local women are the heart and soul behind the event, pouring countless hours into making it a memorable, meaningful day for the community and our four-legged friends.

Driven by a Love for Dogs 🐶

Sylvia and Jana aren’t just organizers - they’re lifelong dog lovers. From rescuing pups and volunteering for animal causes to simply spending time with their own furry companions, their passion runs deep. It’s that genuine love for animals that inspired them to create an event that not only brings joy to pets and their people, but also gives back to the Cochrane & Area Humane Society (CAHS).

They believe dogs make our lives better - and Furry Fun Fest is their way of saying thank you to the animals that fill our hearts, while supporting a cause that helps give every pet a second chance.

A Shared Vision 🐾

Sylvia and Jana both envisioned more than just a fun day out. They dreamed of an event that could:
